Dear MSO Athletes:
We hope this announcement finds you safe and well.
As of Thursday, March 26, 2020 the Montana Senior Olympics on June 11-13 in Missoula is ON.
We remain optimistic about the status of this June’s competition, but it’s difficult to predict what the next few months will bring. As stated by the National Senior Games Association, the health and safety of all of our participants is our top priority, and we will continue to monitor developments in this fluid situation in consultation with our partners and public health experts.
We encourage you to go ahead and register above and plan to compete in Missoula this June. Our hotel partners have instituted flexible cancellation policies, and Missoula Parks and Recreation stands ready to host the games. All registration fees are fully refundable if the games are canceled or postponed. Because competitors will be traveling from throughout Montana and from out of state, we’ve tentatively set May 15 as our deadline to make a decision about the status of the 2020 Montana Senior Olympics.
Please consider registering for your event by the May 1 early registration deadline. For those who would prefer to register by mail, watch for a registration form and event information to be mailed to your home by April 10. Give us a call at 406-721-PARK (7275) or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you’d like to request a registration form now.
